Bioinformatics Scientist | Research Cyberinfrastructure Specialist
As a Bioinformatics Scientist, I support the expanding cyberinfrastructure and computational biology research endeavors at UW-Madison. My current professional role is to help scientists through personalized guidance, training, and implementation of bioinformatics work - from project planning to data generation and data analysis. I support a wide range of microbiology and genomics research, from model organisms to complex microbial communities, and work with scientists to address diverse research-questions that involve multiple data types. I work closely with researchers to address their research questions, build custom informatics workflows, and while collaborating with campus-level partners that provide shared computing cyberinfrastructure.
